Amy Brandt
Amy Brandt joined Falfurrias Management Partners as a Partner in 2023 to help lead Falfurrias Growth Partners. Prior to joining the Firm, she was Operating Executive Director at Serent Capital. Serent Capital is a leading lower-middle market private equity firm focused on investing in high growth service and technology businesses.
Most recently Amy was the President and Chief Executive Officer of First American Docutech, providing an end-to-end integrated digital mortgage experience that enables lenders to accelerate the real estate closing process. She currently sits on the First American Advisory Council. In addition to her executive career, Amy currently serves on the boards of Studio Designer, Quisitive Technologies, InhabitIQ, and the Institute of International Education.
Amy has over 20 years of successful experience as an accomplished entrepreneur and senior executive with multiple successful private equity backed exits. She is a multi-award winner, including Housing Wire’s Vanguard Award and Institute of International Education’s Centennial Medal.
Prior to First American Docutech, Amy was the President of Originations and Corporate Technology at New Penn Financial, and prior to Penn Financial, the Chief Operating Officer of Prospect Mortgage, Chief Executive Officer of Vantium Capital and head of GE Money Mortgage North America.
Amy earned a JD from Arizona State College of Law and a BA in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
Michael Clifton joined Falfurrias Management Partners as a Partner in 2022. He helps lead Falfurrias Growth Partners and serves on its Investment Committee. He has more than 20 years of private equity and finance experience including helping lead technology and business services investing for The Carlyle Group’s flagship U.S. Buyout Private Equity group and co-founding Supernova Partners, a sponsor of multiple blank-check companies. He has significant experience investing in software, business services, and fintech companies. He is currently a Director of Rigetti Computing (NASDAQ:RGTI) and has served on several private company and non-profit boards.
Michael earned an AB, Cum Laude, in Classics from Davidson College, and an MBA with High Distinction from the Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
Cam Dyer began working with Falfurrias Management Partners in 2021 as Co-Investor and Lead Advisory Board member for Crosslake Technologies. Since that time, he has worked closely with Ed McMahan and the FMP partners to develop and launch FGP I. Mr. McMahan and Cam first worked together more than twenty years ago in lower-middle-market private equity and investment banking. Cam previously served as Managing Director and Partner of The Carlyle Group, which he joined in 2002. During his 19 years with Carlyle, in which he became Global Co-head of Carlyle’s TMT sector, Cam successfully completed investments across application software, data and information technology, IT Services and infrastructure businesses.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Cam was an Associate with the private equity firm William Blair Capital Partners, a Consultant with Bain & Company, and an Investment Banking Analyst in the M&A Group of Bowles, Hollowell, Conner & Co. He earned his MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and his BS, Magna Cum Laude, from Washington & Lee University.
Cam currently serves as a Director on the boards of Cadence RX, Carolina Tractor & Equipment Company, and non-profit Aspire Community Capital. He also serves on the Advisory Boards of Melior Equity Partners (formerly Carlyle Ireland), WSC & Co. and Crosslake Technologies.

Hugh McColl IV joined Falfurrias Management Partners as a Senior Associate in 2022. Previously, Hugh served as an Executive Director of Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO at Parexel, a leading global clinical research organization and biopharmaceutical services company. While at Parexel, Hugh focused on corporate strategy initiatives and helped lead the company’s sale process in 2021.
Prior to Parexel, Hugh served as an Associate with Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, a New York based private equity firm, where his work was focused on the execution of leveraged buyout transactions in the healthcare and technology sectors. Prior to Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, Hugh served as an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Credit Suisse in New York.
