Brisk autumn air and football games galore can only mean one thing: it’s time to get your Oktoberfest groove on! All Tulsa Energy Professionals looking for a fun atmosphere to learn and share knowledge with others in the industry are invited to a networking happy hour. Join us any time from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, October 27th, at McNellie’s Side Bar in downtown Tulsa, 409 East 1st Street. Grab a colleague, loosen your phone grip, and enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres (on us!) while connecting with local energy-industry leaders. Come for the drinks and tasty grub – stay for the fun, relaxed vibe! Need more persuasion? This event will feature a YETI cooler as the evening’s door prize. RSVP HERE.
Sponsored by OpenLink, the quarterly TEP networking event brings together energy professionals to talk shop and meet new business connections in the energy space. TEP is composed of a number of prominent businesses in the Tulsa area with the intent of bringing people together to network and discuss emerging trends and best practices in the energy industry, and to unwind in a casual environment.
Global consulting and solutions firm capSpire, located in downtown Tulsa, spearheaded the creation of Tulsa Energy Professionals and continues to serve as event organizer and sponsor of group events.
“A group like Tulsa Energy Professionals contributes to the creation of a welcoming, collegial, vibrant energy community in Tulsa,” says Trent Amos, capSpire Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “That sense of community is reinforced with our quarterly mixers, and we’re happy to receive such positive feedback and see so many professionals actively participating. Anticipation for our Oktoberfest mixer is already growing.”
Aside from the camaraderie that’s gained whenever colleagues have a chance to relax at the end of the day, TEP events are also unique networking opportunities that bring together all types of energy professionals. Members of TEP range from traders and accountants, to developers and managers.
*Note: No membership or special invitation is needed to attend a TEP networking mixer – it’s open to everyone. Our events are meant to create a social atmosphere of connection. Please feel free to invite clients, colleagues and other professionals in the energy industry who’d like to network as well.
“With participation at these events consistently reaching over 100 attendees, it’s so exciting to see the interest in the Tulsa Energy Professionals mixers continue to flourish,” says capSpire Recruiter Megan Coger. “We’d love to welcome other energy-focused organizations to get involved or sponsor an event in 2017 as our group gains in popularity and size.”
Be sure to connect with other Tulsa Energy Professionals on LinkedIn and follow the Facebook page to learn about upcoming networking events.
