Houston Business Journal Names capSpire as a “Best Place to Work” for 2019

capSpire’s team members have been saying it for a long time, but the Houston Business Journal just made it official. For 2019, capSpire has been included among the publication’s “Best Places to Work” in the fourth largest city in the U.S.

To earn this honour, capSpire’s Houston employees submitted surveys rating the company on ten core areas of engagement for them: teamwork, retention, alignment with goals, trust with coworkers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leadership, feeling valued, job satisfaction, and benefits. Our top marks from employees resulted in a spot on this exclusive list.

This recognition comes on the heels of many other recent awards for capSpire focused on workplace culture: 2018 Top Company Culture Award from Entrepreneur magazine, inclusion on Inc. Magazine’s 2019 Best Workplaces list, certification as a Great Place to Work®, and 2018 Arkansas Business of the Year award from Arkansas Business

“It’s clear by looking at other finalists that the Houston Business Journal recognized companies that have a history of growth through unique, people-focused ways. For capSpire, our strategy of creating raving-fan clients through our team of extremely strong yet humble people has been a catalyst for our success over the last ten years. It is truly a pleasure to be able to build a company that thrives on trust, employee autonomy, and employee empowerment. When you have such a foundation, everything else comes much easier.” says says Jeff Hardcastle, Co-Founder of capSpire.

It is one of our proudest accomplishments that, despite capSpire’s continual expansion within individual offices and around the world, we’ve been able to maintain this culture.

“Throughout our 10-year history, capSpire has always been differentiated by our unique culture. We’re a team of people who enjoy solving challenging problems by working together. One of the many things I love is how everyone is hired for their individual perspectives, unique talents and are then empowered to grow in the direction they want for their career. By doing this, we are able to create an environment for our people to thrive.” says Victoria Scott, Chief of Staff.”

This growth has been especially prevalent in Houston, Texas, where capSpire has long enjoyed a presence and formally opened an office in 2017. In fact, Houston is home to capSpire’s largest percentage of employees.
