Houston, Texas – October 17, 2024 – capSpire is excited to announce the addition of Donna Oveson to our team. Donna serves as Managing Director, RightAngle, a role in which she will provide strategic leadership and expert guidance for client implementations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices. Her efforts will also focus on driving the global growth of the capSpire organization, spearheading new business development, and fostering overall team expansion to enhance our global presence.

She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in energy trading and risk management (ETRM) as well as in the markets we serve, most specifically crude oil and refined products,” said Cathy Hughes, Managing Partner, North America, at capSpire.
Donna brings more than three decades of professional experience, including 12 years within the energy industry on the client side, where she worked on RightAngle implementations. Following this, she transitioned to the consultant side of the business, where for more than 15 years she has collaborated with businesses to implement software systems to meet their goals and drive growth. During this time, Donna also managed and led a consulting organization responsible for successful implementations and providing ongoing support for client engagements. This blend of experience makes her an incredible asset to capSpire and our clients and has contributed to her highly regarded reputation in the energy industry.
“Donna has the unique perspective of having been on both sides in this industry, first as a user of the software products we support and second as a consultant helping to build and implement these systems. As a result, she understands the client’s perspective in a way that can be rare in this space because she has been in their shoes and knows their concerns. In fact, Donna thrives on working directly with clients and helping them be successful,” said Cathy.
Donna echoes this sentiment.

I know exactly what it’s like to manage their day-to-day jobs, and I can help them navigate the often complex and lengthy process,” said Donna. “My experience has also enabled me to effectively liaise between clients and other consultants and software vendors. I hear what clients communicate to me, and I intuitively understand their needs without requiring further explanation. As a result, I can translate this information to other team members. From there, we can all work together to create the optimal solution to achieve their objectives.”
